Likulia Children Case: Two Police Officers Sentenced to Two Years of Penal Servitude

The Kinshasa-Gombe Military Court sentenced two police officers to two years of penal servitude on June 4, 2026, for their involvement in the torture and sequestration of the Likulia children. Philémon Mambabwa, a senior official of the National Intelligence Agency (ANR), was acquitted. Former MP Marie-Ange Mushobekwa, the plaintiff, stated she would not appeal.
