LIVE | Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns prepare for MTN8 final tactical showdown

On October 10, 2026, the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns is held at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Pirates aims for a fifth consecutive trophy, while Sundowns seeks to win a trophy they haven't secured in recent years. Both teams, dominant in domestic football, have faced each other in cup finals over the past five years, with Pirates winning two of those matches. The game is expected to be tactically intense, with a strong rivalry between coaches Abdeslam Ouaddou and Miguel Cardoso.
