Liverpool collapse to Champions League defeat at Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce beat Liverpool 3-2 in Istanbul in the Champions League, coming from behind twice. Trey Nyoni and Alexander Isak put the visitors ahead, but Mason Greenwood and Archie Brown equalised before Vedat Muriqi scored the winner. Dirk Kuyt, Liverpool’s former player and Fenerbahce’s interim manager, helped revive the Turkish club’s European campaign. The defeat ended Liverpool’s winning start after three matches and cost them a chance to draw level with Paris Saint-Germain at the top of the table.
