Living conditions of Kigonze displaced persons worsen after fires

The living conditions of displaced persons at Kigonze site in Bunia (Ituri) are worsening after several fires destroyed makeshift shelters. The ENTE association reports families scattered and victims forced to sleep outdoors, especially women, children, and the elderly. It criticizes the lack of protection structures and humanitarian organizations on site and calls on provincial authorities and the National Refugee Commission to intervene. ENTE also warns about armed groups, including those from the CRP, infiltrating the site and urges their removal to safeguard civilians.
