Liyeplimal: Blériot Nyemeck says he has reimbursed investors who invested through him

Appearing on Ernest Obama’s A1 program “Obama Time” on November 1, 2026, Blériot Nyemeck said he had reimbursed everyone who invested in Liyeplimal through him. The cryptocurrency investment product, associated with Global Investment Trading and its promoter Émile Parfait Simb, drew complaints from subscribers unable to recover their money. In May 2022, reports cited a complaint by around a hundred investors and the promoter’s arrest, followed by his release after two days in custody. Nyemeck’s claim applies to investors who went through him; no payment records or beneficiary testimony were available to independently verify it.

State Minister Guylain Nyembo chaired the fourth meeting of the PDL-145T National Operational Committee in Kinshasa on November 2, 2026, to assess completion of the first phase of socio-economic infrastructure and prepare the launch of the second. The next phase will rehabilitate agricultural feeder roads to improve access to production areas and markets, reduce transport costs, and connect remote territories. Due to financial constraints, 3,700 kilometers of roads will be rehabilitated rather than the 10,000 kilometers initially planned; this first edition of the program is scheduled to end in December 2027. Technical committee coordinator Jean-Philippe Mukuaki said preparations for the second phase had been completed.

Reps move to reform 69-year-old Trustee Investment Act

Nigeria’s House of Representatives has begun considering a bill to repeal and replace the Trustee Investments Act of 1957. Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, represented at a public hearing in Abuja by Dahiru Abubakar Sarki, said the reform should modernise the legal framework while protecting beneficiaries and investors.
