Looting and kidnappings during an armed attack in Masisi

Armed men attacked the village of Kihuma in the Buabo group, Masisi territory, between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM on April 27, causing looting and the kidnapping of two young boys. The assailants took sewing machines, clothing, and cash. Local civil society reports that at least fifteen civilians have been killed in a month in this area, where human rights violations are common due to the presence of armed groups, including the AFC/M23.
