Louga: 11-year-old student fatally stabbed during altercation between minors

An 11-year-old boy, Fallou Guèye, was fatally stabbed in the Artillerie neighborhood of Louga on September 27, 2026, around 9 p.m., during an altercation with a 12-year-old Guinean boy, Ousmane Souaré. The dispute escalated into a fight, and the attacker delivered a fatal stab wound, causing the victim's death before he could be taken to the regional hospital. Police arrested the suspect and launched an investigation for homicide.
