Lualaba: TFM rejects air pollution accusations in Fungurume

Tenke Fungurume Mining (TFM) has rejected air pollution accusations made by the consortium Mazingira pour Tous, which reported high concentrations of sulfur dioxide near its plants. TFM claims to comply with environmental standards and questions the measurement methodology used by the consortium. The company stated that its monitoring data shows levels compliant with regulatory limits in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
