Lubumbashi: the C64 coalition maintains its march despite the city's ban

The C64 coalition, comprising several opposition parties, is proceeding with its planned march on September 15 in Lubumbashi despite the city's ban. Acting mayor Joyce Tunda justified the ban by citing the need to maintain public order. C64 leaders denounce this decision as a violation of the Constitution, asserting that Article 26 guarantees the freedom to demonstrate. A similar mobilization is also planned in Kinshasa.
