M-East crisis: Calls grow for inclusion of Lebanon in peace deal

Several countries, including Australia, France, the United Kingdom, and Iran's allies such as Russia and Turkey, have called for Lebanon's inclusion in the ceasefire deal agreed upon by the United States and Iran. This agreement follows a 41-day war triggered by Hezbollah's rocket fire in retaliation for the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Israeli airstrikes on Beirut have resulted in over 2,000 deaths and displaced more than 4,000 people. Meanwhile, Iran has dismissed demands for restrictions on its uranium enrichment program.
