Macky Sall at the center of a new clash between the APR and Abdoulaye Niane

Serigne Modou Habib Mbacké, an APR official in Daroul Mouhty, sharply criticized DER/FJ head Abdoulaye Niane after Niane raised the possibility of legal proceedings against Macky Sall. Mbacké accused him of ingratitude toward the former president, who appointed him to lead the BNDE, and alleged that he was trying to draw closer to the new authorities. He also questioned Niane’s political influence, saying he had never won an election in Touba, and warned Bassirou Diomaye Faye against relying on him in an election.
