Five Suspects Arrested over Murder of Osun Teenager

Police in Osun State have arrested five suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Olapade Ezekiel in Ilobu on June 21, 2026. Police said a group arriving in a Sienna bus fired sporadically at a palm-wine shop where the teenager was with his father and other customers; Matthew John was also wounded. The suspects—Saheed Kareem, Ismail Yekeen, Abass Afeez, Salako Taofeek and Abdulrauf Ogunshola—reportedly confessed to taking part in the crime during questioning.
