Madlanga Commission | Sibanyoni denies instructing Sindane to extort Moloto Road contractor

Mpumalanga taxi boss and businessman Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni testified before the Madlanga Commission, denying he instructed Bafana “King of the Sky” Sindane to threaten businessman Dr Tengane Ntuli. Sibanyoni stated Sindane acted independently in a R2 million extortion case, where Ntuli was accused of owing protection fees to continue his operations on land claimed by Sindane and Sibanyoni. The case arose after Ntuli secured a SANRAL tender to upgrade Moloto Road, and Sindane allegedly sent a WhatsApp message demanding payment and questioning the reduced amount.
