Magil Construction Corporation filed a second annulment appeal before the Paris Court of Appeal on February 9, 2026, this time targeting the State of Cameroon. This appeal follows an arbitration ruling that condemned Magil to pay approximately 35 million Canadian dollars to Razel-BEC and Razel Cameroon. The dispute involves contracts related to three construction sites in Cameroon, including the rehabilitation of the Reunification Stadium in Douala. The Court of Appeal refused to consolidate this appeal with a previous one filed against the two Razel companies.
