Majority in US say Trump prioritises personal wealth over all else: Poll

Most US adults believe President Donald Trump has prioritized his personal financial interests and those of his close circle over the country's since returning to the White House in 2025. The Associated Press-NORC poll indicates that over half see Trump as acting largely in his own self-interest, especially through investments in his businesses and commercial ventures. About a quarter believe he focuses on national interests, and only 11% feel he represents ordinary Americans. A majority of Republican respondents also think Trump has prioritized his business interests significantly.
