Makutano Mining 2026: Kinshasa hosts a pan-African forum dedicated to mining industrialization

Kinshasa will host the first edition of Makutano Mining from November 22 to 25, 2026, under the patronage of President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi. The forum will bring together African leaders, including Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama, to discuss mining industrialization and project financing. The Democratic Republic of Congo, accounting for 73% of global cobalt production, will play a central role in the discussions.
