Malaria: Zamfara begins fumigation against mosquitoes

Governor Dauda Lawal approved a state-wide fumigation to combat the spread of malaria and other mosquito-related illnesses. The Zamfara State Environmental Protection and Enforcement Agency announced the start of the exercise in Gusau, beginning with several wards, including Mayana and Sabon Gari. Monitoring teams have been deployed to supervise the operation, which aims to reduce the mosquito population and improve public health.
