The High Court in Lilongwe, Malawi, has overturned the extradition order against Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, ending South Africa's efforts to extradite them for legal proceedings. The court's detailed 175-page ruling found that the March 2025 extradition order was flawed, particularly because the Bushiris were denied the right to be heard before the order was issued.
