Mali: Bamako Under Curfew After Wave of Attacks

Malian authorities have imposed a 72-hour curfew in Bamako from 9 PM to 6 AM following coordinated attacks on April 25. Assaults targeted the capital, Kati, and several other locations, leading to heightened security measures. In the Gao region, the curfew has been adjusted to run from 7:30 PM to 6 AM. Armed groups, including JNIM affiliated with Al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the attacks, while authorities reported repelling the assailants.
