Mali: Ten Gold Exploration Permits Renewed, Third Wave in Six Weeks – La Nouvelle Tribune

The Malian government renewed ten gold exploration permits on September 30 during a Council of Ministers meeting in Koulouba, led by General Assimi Goïta. This marks the third renewal wave in six weeks, bringing the total to 22 gold permits renewed since August 21. Among them, the Dandoko permit, awarded in 2017 and renewed once, was renewed again to continue exploring for economically viable deposits. These permits, suspended from December 2022 to March 2025 due to detected anomalies, have been reinstated following investigations.
