Mali: The Transitional Committee reviews the situation, several senior officials affected during the attacks

The Transitional Civil-Military Committee of Mali announced the death of Army Corps General Sadio Camara, killed in an attack at his home in Kati, attributed to JNIM. Several senior military officials, including General Modibo Koné and General Oumar Diarra, were also injured during the coordinated attacks that occurred on April 25, 2026. General Koné underwent successful surgery, while General Diarra is being treated at the Military Hospital in Kati. The CTCM expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
