Mambasa: a student tested positive for Ebola dies in Biakato

A primary school student in Biakato, Ituri, died after testing positive for Ebola. The information was announced by Michel Nesapongo Ipunio during a local education committee meeting, which decided to continue classes with enhanced prevention measures. Authorities are urging increased awareness and provision of hygiene supplies to prevent transmission in schools. In September, four Ebola cases, including one death, were recorded among students in Bunia, also in Ituri.
