Mambasa: two civilians killed in ADF attack at Longela

On October 7, two civilians, including a member of the Pygmy community, were killed in an ADF attack in Longela, about 46 km from Mambasa center, on RN4 in Ituri. A house was also burned during this raid in the Babila-Babombi area within the Okapi Wildlife Reserve zone. The civil society reports five attacks by ADF since early October, resulting in 11 civilian deaths and one ranger killed in a previous attack, though these figures are not officially confirmed.
