Mamdani says Trump to grant visa to mother of boy killed in Bronx shooting

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani says Donald Trump agreed to grant an immediate visa to the mother of Javits Frimpong, a 15-year-old Ghanaian boy shot dead in the Bronx. He had told his father he was being bullied at school, and police are investigating, with no arrests made so far. Ghanaian Foreign Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa said Ghanaian officials were helping his mother with her visa application.

It links the incident to other alleged intimidation targeting its women supporters, offices, and campaign activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
