Man allegedly kills wife in Ogun, dies in crash while fleeing

In Ogungbade, Ogun State, Tajudeen Yekini allegedly killed his wife, Tioyin Edunjobi, in front of their son on September 1, 2026. The police found the woman dead in their apartment. In a similar incident, Odukoya Bidemi killed his wife, Odukoya Adenike, before dying in a car accident while fleeing the scene. Investigations are ongoing in both cases.
