Man City case causing ‘uncertainty’ for whole Premier League, says Iraola

Andoni Iraola, Liverpool manager, said the lack of clarity over Manchester City’s future after their guilty verdict for financial rule breaches is causing uncertainty across the Premier League. City insists they are innocent and has appealed the findings. Iraola believes the situation could lead to a severe points deduction threatening City’s top-flight status and emphasized focusing on their upcoming match against Liverpool. Liverpool, under Iraola since June, remains unbeaten in the league but is six points behind the top after five games with three draws.
