Man City guilty of all serious financial breach charges: Premier League

Manchester City has been found guilty of all serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules between the 2009/10 and 2017/18 seasons, according to a league statement. The club was charged in February 2023 following a four-year investigation, with the independent commission discovering that City arranged sham contracts with commercial partners and used schemes to artificially inflate revenues and reduce costs by over 900 million pounds during the affected period. City denies any wrongdoing and stated they will appeal the decision.
