Man City’s Semenyo out for up to eight weeks due to knee injury

Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo will be sidelined for up to eight weeks after suffering a knee injury during Saturday’s 3-2 win over Ipswich Town. Manager Enzo Maresca said the injury was less serious than first feared and that the Ghana international, who has two goals and three assists in the Premier League this season, could return in December. Maresca also said Erling Haaland, who took a knock to his foot and ankle against Ipswich, could be available for Tuesday’s Champions League match against AEK Athens.
