Man United’s Carrick not worried about his job despite ‘unacceptable’ loss

Manchester United lost 4-1 to Como in the Champions League at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Wednesday, extending their winless run in all competitions to seven matches. Michael Carrick called the performance difficult to watch and the defeat “unacceptable”, but said he had not given his future as manager any thought. Under pressure after United’s worst start to a league season in 40 years, he said he went to applaud the travelling fans to acknowledge their support through a difficult period.
