Man Utd have moved on from Martinez outburst, says Carrick

Michael Carrick says Manchester United has put the dispute with Lisandro Martinez behind it after the defender criticised the club’s summer investment and director of football Jason Wilcox. Martinez apologised for the timing of his comments, while standing by their substance, after Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid. Carrick said the episode had not affected the squad’s atmosphere or unity and confirmed Martinez will travel for Sunday’s match at Leeds.
