Man Utd pay tribute to 'proud Red' crash death officer PC Matthew Blades

The two sons of police officer PC Matthew Blades, killed in a crash in Teesside, led out the Manchester United team as mascots for the Premier League match against Ipswich. The club paid tribute to Blades in the match programme, while his widow and their children attended the game. PC Blades and his colleague PC Tom Clough died in a head-on collision on August 22, which also claimed the lives of five people in the other vehicle.
