Maniema: No March by C64 in Kindu, Impressive Security Measures

A significant security deployment was made in Kindu to prevent the peaceful march by the Coalition Article 64 (C64) against constitutional revision. Despite the call to protest, commercial and school activities continued normally. The provincial Minister of the Interior praised the maturity of the population, stating that no disruptive events occurred. The C64 condemned arbitrary arrests of its militants and requested mediation from CENCO.
