Olympique de Marseille said Monday that its official store on La Canebière was looted during weekend unrest. Protests over rising prices and declining public services led to shop damage and looting across France, and thousands of people were arrested. The store, operated by club partner Puma, has temporarily closed because of significant property damage, while Marseille’s other official stores remain open. Ninth in Ligue 1 after seven matches, Marseille is set to play an away Europa League game against Sturm Graz on Thursday.
