‘Masana the Brave’ helps young girls navigate first periods without shame

Puno Selesho launched the illustrated book _Masana the Brave: A Story About Growing Up_ to help young girls address menstruation and puberty. The book follows Masana, a confident young girl who faces uncertainty when she gets her first period. Selesho, in collaboration with Lil-Lets, aims to break the stigma surrounding menstruation through relatable storytelling. This educational project encourages young girls to discuss their emotions and feel comfortable with their bodies.
