Masisi: AFC/M23 Rebels Dislodged from Rutoboko and Kibahemula

The security situation in the Nyamaboko 1st group, in the Masisi territory, remains volatile after clashes between the wazalendo and the AFC/M23 rebels. The fighting on September 8 allowed the wazalendo to regain control of the villages of Rutoboko and Kibahemula, although the commercial center of Humura remains under AFC/M23 control. A relative calm is observed on September 9, but the situation remains concerning for the civilian population.
