Albert Karakacha, President of the Matatu Owners Association (MOA), has called for dialogue with the government regarding the rising fuel prices and ongoing strikes. He stated that the association is ready to meet to avert transport paralysis, which is already affecting Nairobi and other cities. Karakacha also demanded the removal of all taxes on fuel, including the 8% VAT and the Ksh25 Road Maintenance Levy.
