Mattress firms leak secret union in price fixing probe

Five mattress manufacturers in Kenya inadvertently exposed their collusion by jointly filing a court injunction to block a planned raid by the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK). They withdrew the suit the next day, but the CAK raided their premises anyway, seizing documents, phones, and laptops. The investigation aims to uncover price-fixing and sharing of market-sensitive information.
