Mbakaou: EDC launches 1.45 billion FCFA detailed studies for the announced 400 MW hydro-solar complex

The Electricity Development Corporation (EDC) has launched tenders for detailed studies regarding the Mbakaou hydro-solar complex in Adamaoua, with a total budget of 1.45 billion FCFA. The project includes a 54 MW hydroelectric plant upstream, another 234 MW downstream, and a 111 MW solar plant. Geological and geotechnical studies are to be completed within eight months.
