Mbalmayo: Suspected Drug Dealer Nicknamed “Anaconda” Arrested

Issa O., 26, nicknamed “Anaconda,” was arrested on November 3 at Le Calice in Mbalmayo by gendarmes from the Nyong-et-So’o company under Captain Michel Atangana. He had been wanted since August over suspected drug sales and allegedly used young motorcycle couriers to distribute the products. A search of his home in the Haoussa neighborhood reportedly uncovered Indian hemp, crack, tramadol, diazepam, two gas cylinders and an unspecified amount of money. Investigations are continuing to establish the scope of his alleged activities and identify possible accomplices.
