M’batto: Koné Brahima Yves (DG CCC) calls for the continuation of the intermediate cocoa campaign in serenity

The Director General of the Coffee-Cocoa Council, Koné Brahima Yves, met with stakeholders in the coffee-cocoa sector in M’Batto on May 13, 2026. Producers raised concerns about unpaid payments from the main campaign, particularly the price drop of cocoa from 2,800 F CFA to 1,200 F CFA per kilogram. Koné Brahima Yves acknowledged the difficulties caused by the decline in international market prices and called for the continuation of the intermediate campaign in a climate of trust.
