Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie has threatened legal action against DA Western Cape leader Tertuis Simmers over allegations that voters were given tik to vote for the PA during George by-elections. Simmers claimed that police had been informed of vehicles transporting drugs and that photos of irregularities had been submitted to the Electoral Commission of South Africa. He also alleged that cash payments and food parcels were distributed to influence voters, claims he said he personally witnessed and reported to authorities.
