Meet Sanmi Koyejo, Nigerian professor named in 2026 TIME100 AI List

Sanmi Koyejo, a Nigerian AI researcher and entrepreneur, has been named in the 2026 TIME100 AI List. Co-founder of the AI security startup Virtue AI, he was hired by Meta to join its Superintelligence Labs, where he will contribute to AI security research. Koyejo is also the director of Stanford University's Trustworthy AI Research Lab, overseeing research into AI measurement science.
