Meghan Markle’s Father Arrested in US Over Alleged Child Sexual Abuse Images

Thomas Markle Sr, Meghan Markle’s father, was arrested in Florida after alleged child sexual abuse material was found in two Los Angeles-area storage units he had rented for nearly two decades. The US Justice Department said FBI agents seized 78 items, including photos, film negatives and books containing explicit images of him with underage girls. Shakahola massacre: despite Mackenzie’s conviction, families demand answers

In Kenya, pastor Paul Mackenzie was sentenced to 200 years in prison over the Shakahola massacre, but victims’ families are still seeking answers about missing relatives. Suleiman Ziro, who lost six children and his wife in 2023, welcomed the verdict while lamenting that their remains have not been returned. More than 400 bodies were exhumed from mass graves at the Chakama ranch in April 2023; over 60 victims have been identified and reburied, while many remain unidentified or unclaimed. Mackenzie’s lawyer, Lawrence Obonyo, said he had appealed the judgment and would challenge the sentence.
