Messi set to buy Spanish football club

Lionel Messi, captain of Inter Miami, has reached a preliminary agreement to buy the Spanish second-tier club, CD Eldense. He will acquire 100% of the club's shares, which currently plays in the Segunda Division. Messi's takeover will proceed without any third-party involvement once due diligence is completed. The deal is now awaiting formal ratification from Spain's Higher Sports Council in the coming days.
