Troops storm Mandara hideout, rescue abducted women as terrorists flee under fire in Borno

Six civilians, including three children, were rescued by troops of Operation HADIN KAI in the Mandara Mountains after being abducted during an attack in Ngoshe. The victims, who were captured during a March 3 attack, were found during a military operation that also saw troops respond to gunfire from fleeing terrorists. After their rescue, they received medical attention before being reunited with their families in Ngoshe.
