Mexican judge sentences three men for murders of Australian, US surfers

A Mexican judge found three men guilty of the murders of Australian brothers Callum and Jake Robinson and their American friend Carter Rhoad in April 2024 in Baja California. The defendants, Jesus Gerardo Garcia alias « El Kekas », Irineo Francisco « N » and Angel Jesus « N », were also convicted of armed robbery and carjacking after being in custody for over two years. The victims' bodies, discovered in May 2024 in a well with gunshot wounds to the head, shocked Mexico and drew international attention.
