Crude oil exports from the Middle East exceeded pre-war levels on four of the seven days in the last week of September, according to provisional data from Kpler. IRGC commander Ali Fadavi stated that no US vessels are currently in the Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, or surrounding waters, and described US warships as vulnerable to IRGC attacks. Overall regional exports, including oil products and chemicals, averaged 22.4 million barrels per day in late September, with a peak in LNG shipments during the month.
