Migrants: the American agency ICE will equip itself with robot dogs for a specific mission

The American agency ICE plans to use robot dogs from Boston Dynamics for inspection and surveillance missions, with a budget of up to $2 million. These robots, capable of navigating dangerous environments, will not be used to apprehend individuals but to assess situations before agents intervene. The delivery of the first units is expected in spring 2027 at Fort Benning, Georgia.
