Military aircraft crashes during airshow

An F-4 Phantom military aircraft crashed Saturday near Athens during an airshow, Greek news agency ANA reported. The circumstances of the crash remain unclear, as does the fate of the two pilots aboard. The incident occurred shortly after takeoff, resulting in an explosion and fire, prompting a fire service helicopter to be dispatched. Defence Minister Nikos Dendias canceled a trip to visit the scene of the accident.
