Military transport plane crashes in India

An Indian military transport plane, an Antonov An-32, crashed on Saturday while landing at Jorhat air force station in Assam state. The Indian air force said a court of inquiry will investigate, but gave no details on casualties or the number of people on board. NDTV broadcast images of the crash site showing thick smoke and wreckage. The last major crash of this aircraft model was in 2019, killing 13 people.
